I liked everything about this trip! The experience was very humbling. It challenged me in ways of engaging with others around me especially during our most uncomfortable and vulnerable moments. And for that reason I learned something from each and every one in the group. I enjoyed the submergence into a new culture of people. Their customs, language, and religion. No translator made me work harder to engage but it worked!! The love and kindness overflowed. I felt very welcomed. What I enjoyed the most was the beauty. I've never seen anything more beautiful.
The depth of the experience is what made it very real. I loved living amongst the local community. It was a powerful reminder of the value of gratitude.
I really enjoyed working so intimately with the villagers and spending a ton of down time with them. I also enjoyed getting to know the other travelers.
I loved the cultural immersion. Being able to live in the home stays and truly connect with our host family and the community.
I thought the trip was excellent. To be able to connect with humans on a personal level and not being able to speak their language, I thought was indescribable. I never had an experience like this in my life and I'm grateful for it.
