OneYoungTraveler's explorations are designed to encourage transformative learning and expand global awareness by bringing diverse travelers on a travel mission with impact. Our explorations can be an international trip or domestic trip that includes a volunteer project or a cultural immersion experience. The program will cover some or all of the following components:
- Learn about the local people, culture and food
- Volunteer within the community and make an impact
- Participate in local activities and tours
- Explore historic sites in different states and/or countries
- Build new and lasting relationships with your travel partners
What makes us different
We would like to bring a different perspective to “travel” by serving a purpose on our trips. Our program is created for individuals between the ages of 21-39 (with emphasis on diversity). We believe travel provides important educational and cultural experiences, which builds knowledge that isn’t provided in classrooms and corporate environments. Transformative learning is what shapes a person’s judgment and opinion. This type of learning is only found through experiences and creates a huge impact or “paradigm shift” in a person’s life.
It’s fun to see the Eiffel Tower or Taj Mahal, but we want to see more travelers exposed to a more authentic experience by being culturally immersed. Not only is it rewarding to visit new countries, but being able to learn from cultural differences and give back to society will help increase global awareness.

Would you like to partner with us on our next trip? A sponsorship with us is an ideal way to reach influential minorities in the millennial age group. Being a media partner will connect your organization to a specific demographic interested in your global network.
If you can't join or partner with us, you can always donate to the CCO program through our non-profit partnership with A Touch of Heart [registered 501(c)(3)].
